It is with a heavy heart that I post to this guest book. My memory of Dot goes back to the beginning of her farming days when she and George purchased the farm from my Father. Keeping the family in my prayers and God has just gained a beautiful angel in heaven.

My deepest condolences to the Vande Woude family. Though Dot and I only had a short time together before I moved from Michigan to Colorado, she (and George) made a very big impact on my life. We worked side by side caring for animals and working on projects as she and George remodeled their home on their farm in Ada, Michigan. They expected work but spoiled me for a job well done; Dot even sent me off to Colorado with my very first set of matching luggage, that I still have and use anytime...
