Read MoreVernon was my service manager from 1966 till 1977. During that time, I got to know both Vernon and Dot well. They both were the nicest people, and dearly loved their children and grandchildren. I haven't seen Dot since 1977, and Vernon since 1978, but I still think of them as friends and wish Vernon the best.

My husband and I have lived next door to Dot and Vern for the past five years. We love them both dearly - like grandparents. Dot was truly an angel on earth. I will miss our telephone conversations and her friendly ways. Please let us know if there is anything we can do for any of you. We will be watching and taking care of Vern for Dot.
