Not sure what to say?

To Dorothy Vollmer's family,
I worked with Dorothy many years ago at McDonald's on Jefferson Street. She and the other "morning" ladies were so sharp. I learn so much from them whenever I had the opportunity to work a day shift. What I remember most about Dorothy is the name her granddaughter called her when she and her mom would visit Dorothy at McDonald's, Nonnie.(not sure if I am spelling that right) I told myself then that when I have grandchildren I want them to call Nonnie; and they...

Vollmer Family

My parents Frank & Ange Cresto lived across the street from your parents years ago. They were always so nice to them. I haven't seen your mother in a long time. Sorry to hear of her passing. My prayers are with all of you as you grieve.

To the Vollmer Family: I was a frequent customer at McDonald's drive thru. I never told Dorothy what a striking resemblence she had with my grandmother. She reminded so much of my grandmother who was my best friend. I asked where she was on Friday and was told the sad news. I am so sorry for your loss. I truly enjoyed seeing her in the morning to start my day. Her presence will be greatly missed.

Our hearts break at the thought of Dorothy no longer being just a "quick drive thru stop away". She will always hold a SPECIAL place in all of our hearts. Having the blessing of having worked with her at McDonalds and learning from her words of wisdom we know how very fortune we are to have had her come into our lives. Our prayers are with you all now and always. Dear sweet Dorothy - you may be gone from our sight but not from our hearts! With all our love and prayers - The Maier girls from...

To Patsy, Bobby and family,
I just happened to open the Herald News on line, and there was a picture of your mom. Both your mom & dad were my Godparents. They were an important influence in my young life. I will always remember the chocolate bunny they surprised me with each Easter. I used to look forward to each Holiday knowing they would always be there. I have been in Ca. for 25 years now, and was fortunate to find Dorothy at McD's when I was back home. I can still hear her shouting my...

My condolences to you, Patsy and Bobby! I know, it's probably been a long time since being called that! Wish things were different and hate to see the family dwindling!

To The Vollmer Family, we were saddened to hear of the loss of Dorothy. We would like to extend our deepest sympathy -

Pat and family,

I'm sorry to hear about your mom. I heard only great things about her from you, I felt like I knew her. You are in my prayers.

To the Vollmer Family,
I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your loved one. I knew Dorothy for only a few years. I would stop by McDonalds every morning for my diet coke. When I'd get to her window she would always greet me with," good morning sunshine, where are you off to today." We also shared the love for dogs. I would bring my puppy by and she always had something for him. I'm not looking forward to that stop in the mornings knowning that she will not be their to greet me. She...
