Dorothy Gertrude Wagner Wise

Dorothy did one of the most important things in life; she glorified the Lord with all her amazing service. Dorothy was a lovely woman inside and out. I so enjoyed knowing her and seeing her in her latter years. She was always very friendly to me and interested in our family.

(Dorothy was my father, Dr. Eugene Wagner's first cousin. He was very fond of Dorothy and all of the "cousins".)

Christmas Eve at Dorothy and Fred's home was something I always looked forward to, and it was a family tradition was passed down to them beginning with my grandparents when I was a child. Our children shared this wonderful experience too with all the Wise family and friends that would attend this annual holiday party. Dorothy and Fred were the ultimate hosts.

Dorothy was always very kind to me. My best memory of her was her wonderful joyful laugh. I remember she and her sister Helen laughed together all the time. She will be missed by so many who knew and loved her. My she rest in peace. My love to all the Wise guys from Ellie.
