Dorothy L. "Dot" Whitehead

What a blessing Ms. Whitehead was to me during my visits at Trussville Nursing Home. I will always remember her comments, smile, response and the love for her family. We talked about the family photos of the wall on several visits and she always knew that her family loved and was thinking about her. My thoughts/prayers are with the family during the upcoming days, weeks, months and years. She will be missed but never forgotten. I would just like to say that it was an honor to get to know Ms. Whitehead and be able to be part of her and her families life for a short period of time. I was her social worker with the hospice company and loved being able to visit with her. She always has a smile on her face no matter what was going on. Once again, I will always remember Ms. Whitehead and her wonderful family.

Heaven has another lovely flower for its Garden. God always picks the best. Her life and times before her illness can be remembered with love and fondness to all those privileged to know her then. We were honored to be part of her earthly journey's final steps. May the family have peace.
