Not sure what to say?

I loved to play Mahjong with Dorothy at The City Club.

Dorothy was a lovely neighbor. Always happy and cheerful, Dorothy tried her best to teach me Mahjong. I was a poor learner but she was a gracious teacher.

Dorothy was my partner many times @ the u of m golf course. We were there more for fun than a winning score. When asked to speed up play we were taught to pick up the ball if it was a handles length away from the cup. Dorothy would never do that. Why? She said she liked the sound of the ball hitting the cup! Guess what? I do too, and will always think of you when I putt out! Joyce Beamer

We are very sad to lose our lovely neighbor. Dorothy was a gracious and kind woman. She tried --without success-- to teach me mahjong and I appreciate her kindness and effort. Her memory is a blessing.

Dorothy and D.K. were lovely and fun neighbors on Warwick Ct many years ago!

So sorry to hear of Dorothy´s passing. She was such a lovely person and I enjoyed playing Mahjong with her. She will be missed.

Brian, we are sorry to hear this news. We remember your mother--and father--welcoming us to our neighborhood so many years ago, and we still follow their advice on how to keep the deer away from our plants. May memories of their good and full lives bring you comfort. Barb and Tom Dobson

Dorothy was the first person in the Mah Jongg room when I came to play Mah Jongg at the Ann Arbor City Club. I played with her every week after I met her. What a gentle soul. Her Christmas card is all addressed, and I am not able to send it. You touched my heart Dorothy. Mary Engelhardt
