Dorothy Yates

I remember Mrs. Yates from the Brea-Olinda High School Highway History trips she co-led with her husband Harold. Mrs. Yates was a mentor, chaperone, teacher and resource, especially to the female students on the trip. I also knew her as the mom of the oldest son in the family, who was a special friend; our families had some fun outings together during that time. Mrs. Yates was an outstanding teacher at Hermosa Elementary School in Fullerton and taught my own children. We were all lucky to have her!! May she rest in peace.
