I was a patient of Dr Moore in the early 90´s after having a right eye enucleation. Dr. Moore created and fabricated my eye prosthetic with great care. I would come to see him many times during this process and loved his kindness. I will remember him always and still have the same prosthetic at this time.

Mary, altho late, because we lost contact for that long, that I just discover Dorsey's past away.
We still remember, his dedication to his expertise in maxillo facial prosthetics, that was quite new in the Asia
Pacific Area,that he used his R & R facility,not going to Hongkong,but "lifted"his way to Indonesia,where he
delivered and demonstrated the maxillo facial prosthesis to our region, without thinking to any financial be-
nefit.Did stay with me at my...

Dear Mary and Beth,
I am so sorry to hear about Dorsey's passing. Dorsey and you were so kind to me from the very moment I set foot in KC. Your door was always open and I fondly remember many BBQs there and of course the Superbowl Chilli Party. So many lovely memories of a wonderful man and a great mentor. Dorsey touched and improved the lives of so many.
My deepest sympathies

Mary, I am so sorry to learn that Dorsey has passed. It has been many years, yet, I still have his lessons in my head. He was a great teacher and I owe him a multitude of thanks. He helped me be the person and dentist I am today. My deepest sorrow for your loss. Mary Anderson

I was very privileged to have met Dorsey Moore in 1992 when I did my Dental Elective as a undergraduate Dental Student UK. My elective was part organised by the late Bishop Eugene Frank from Shawnee Mission Missouri. I really appreciated the fantastic time I had at the Dental school. I am very said to hear the passing of Dorsey and may God Bless him he was such an inspiration to me.

Mary, I am so sorry for your loss. Dorsey was a great guy. I'll never forget the ski trip when he taught me how to ski, but we also had some great conversations on the bus, including when he pulled a prosthetic eye out of his pocket and talked about his work in facial prosthetics. Also when he talked about taking all the high school guys at church skydiving when they turned 18. He was an inspiration to me on how to live life to the fullest. Keeping you and your family in my prayers. --Shari...

Mary,
I am so sorry for your loss. Dr. Moore was my Prosthodontics instructor in dental school and later my colleague at Truman Medical Center Lakewood and the Greater Kansas City Dental Society. As many would agree, he was a gifted professional with great personal charm and charisma. He touched many lives and influenced countless others in their careers.
We miss him at the Truman dental clinic. I am honored to call him friend.
Praying that God will comfort you and...
