Nancy, Marianne & family, just viewing the Jackson Sun Ob. and Dossie's notice. He will be a great loss to our UM Church, but his rewards are made in Heaven. I grew up with Dossie and his brothers, Baxter and Bill in Big Sandy, Tennessee. My twin brother, Eddie, and I had the privilege of attending Bethel College with him and got to know him extremely well. I had the highest regards for him and his family. I share with you in your grief and my prayers go out for you during this trying time. You can be comforted just knowing that God loves you and so do we.

Rev. Dossie Wheatley was one of the most wonderful people I have ever had the chance to know, my family always thought the world of him. He will be greatly missed.

Dossie Wheatley is one of the most genuine human beings, that we have had the pleasure of knowing. Our childrens' lives were enriched by his guidance. Nancy and his family are in our thoughts and our prayers.
