Dottie (Rhodes)and Roger Wesendorf owned the D&R Pub on Pinellas Ave (ALT 19) in Tarpon Springs. When they sold their business, they bought a lovely home in Holiday, Florida.

They were well loved by all. We miss them so much. Roger continued to work at the D&R Pub until he had a stroke on the way to work and lost his eyesight. Though the Doctors said he would remain blind, he beat all the odds and was able to gain his sight back..It was a miracle. He stayed home and enjoyed his sports on TV.

I met Dottie back in the early 80's. She was one of the sweetest and caring people I had met in a long time. Straight to the point, kind, and she truly loved her friends and family. She was generous with her time and resources, though she lived simply herself. I will always have the fondest memories of her, and when she smiled it poured a little of her joyful soul to those who were fortunate to be blessed to see it. I love you Dottie, and will see you again when we meet in the kingdom. God...

Dottie was more than my next door neighbor when we were growing up. She was my best friend. We did everything together and had such great times. Unfortunately when she moved to Florida we lost touch but I will always have the happy memories of growing up together and feeling like we were one big, happy family. Rest in Peace dear Dottie, you will be deeply missed.
