Pastor Dottie Carter Rivers

Aunt Dottie was a beautiful soul. As a child, I always marveled at her and her sisters. They really meant the world to me and miss them dearly. I've tried for years to find contact with them and to find out Aunt Dottie has passed away, really saddens me. Nevertheless, I know that she is rejoicing in Heaven. I'm grateful to have been able to have known her and her sisters. If someone sees this, please reach out to me. I'd like nothing more but to say thank you to this family for everything...

First and foremost, I would like to offer my sincerest apology for my absence and offer my deepest condolences to all my family and friends in attendance. Aunt Dottie was one of a kind, "the total package". Not only was she an intelligent lady but had a singing voice no one could ever forget. As a kid growing up, Aunt Dottie would often time travel from Shreveport to Monroe to visit and found herself singing with our church choir. Memories I will cherish forever.
