Not sure what to say?

Our mother was one of the most loving, kind, funny, smart, caring, and strong people that I know! She was always thinking of someone else and how she could be a blessing to all she met. Look forward to seeing you again in heaven, my sweet mother! I love you SO MUCH!!!

Brenda and Family, we are so sorry to hear of your loss. Dottie was such a blessing to Mom (Margaret Bouwens) and all of us and we all loved her! She will certainly be missed but we know her faith has now become sight.

Dottie's enthusiasm was contagious. She always has a joke to tell. What a trooper, against a lot of challenges. She now will reap a lot of rewards, that she definitely deserves. RIP.

We were only around ms. Dottie a short time but she was such a lovely person! She made you feel right at ease and was so pleasant. We know she will be greatly missed!

What a trooper, that hung in there, against a lot of obstacles. RIP Dottie, you deserve your rewards, which will be MANY.

I can not fathom a more loving mother. Cant wait to see her again in glory!!! Chet Short

She loved to be with people. Grandma was a joker who brought joy to everyone she met. Grandma Short was one of my top favorite 3 people growing up. She helped to install manners in me which is always good! Peace be with her.

She was an absolutely precious woman! I am so very sorry for your loss but rejoice in knowing she is alive and whole, seeing with her eyes all she believed in faith. I so look forward to the time I will see her again.
