Not sure what to say?

We are sorry for your loss, Nancy. We enjoyed the time that we had with Doug and looked forward to seeing him. He was a very special person. Jerry & Kris

Sorry to hear about your husband's passing, he had a powerful influence on my brother Mark, who attended High Point back in the 1970's and myself later on as I drove for AATA and would pick up his classes going various places around town.

Nancy, My thoughts and prayers are with you. Doug was truly a magnificent human being and touched many lives. You can be so proud to have been his wife. May God Hold You In The Palm of His Hands.

Had the pleasure of volunteering for Special Olympics with Doug many years ago. He was a great person and an outstanding teacher. He will surely be missed.

My condolences to you, Nancy, and to all of the family. I am tremendously sorry for your loss. It was my pleasure to help set up the coverage (emergency services) for the Fun Run for many years and even tho I never had the opportunity to meet either of you in person, it was always a pleasure working with you guys. All of my thoughts and prayers to you!!

Doug Cooper was an amazing mentor and overall spectacular human being. His kindness, humor and humanity have influenced my personal and professional life and I will forever be grateful to know him.

Doug Cooper was a very big and very special part of my life. As him and Nancy were my teachers back in high school we all seen them as a lot more than just teachers. Someone that listen someone that cared somebody that accepted you for who you are. Strong-willed driven and strong-minded. He's inspired me to be the person I am today, hard-working, caring of others, understanding of others, and most of all the ability to keep in shape! Had it not been for his Drive I would not be the person...
