I had the privilege of working with Doug at Microsoft and we stayed friends long after I left the company. Doug and I shared little politically, but we both loved the Cowboys, Texas, Microsoft, Tyler, and both greatly respected each other. What I loved most about Doug is we could disagree and still be friends. Not many people like him left in the world. You will be missed Doug. My condolences to the entire Davis and extended family.
