Not sure what to say?

It has been a month since his celebration at the RGC and all his golfing buddies out here in Golden, BC miss Doo dearly. He was a great friend, a once in a lifetime friend who will be missed by all who knew him. Thank you Mr. Doolittle for the memories - your forever friend Coxie!

I am so saddened to have just heard of Dougie Doo's passing. He was out insurance consulting agent for many years. He always worked hard to get the very best deals for his clients.
I will miss his visits and his newest joke when our policy comes due later this year. Sincere condolences to his family he was a unique human being.

Hey Dougie....was not more than a few weeks ago that you e-mailed me having seen my picture somewhere to remember a TCS football game a Varsity Stadium back in 1960 in which we both played a part. How you were always able to light up the lives of those around you by remembering everything and by putting others ahead of you. Congrats. on a wonderful life, well lived. Bob Stone

My memories of "Dougie Doo" go back to childhood and the Thursday afternoon visits to our mutual grandmother's home in Hamilton, ON. Dougie would always have us laughing and enjoying each others company just a little bit more with his exuberance. My regards and sympathies to his wife, Sarah and sons Ridley and Roone.

Truly One of a Kind. The Mackenzies will miss Dougie dearly. Wonderful speech tonight Ridley. Happy 71st to your larger than life Dad.

I was introduced to Dougie Doo Doo by Ian Paton at the RGC. Dougie would always make time for lil chats when we met...He was always a GREAT character and he told you what HE thought!...Dougie we will miss you and your upbeat personality. God Speed Sir

Alan and I are thinking of all Doug's family as you have your Celebration of Life gathering today. We have just landed from the US to our new home at Lake of Bays, and well remember our visit here with Doug and Sarah fondly. I can't believe he is gone, but he will live on in our hearts and minds.

Dougie Doolittle - a person and a name that will live on in our hearts for eternity. Doug was an inadvertent larger than life character who was truly one of the good guys. The Edmonton and Royal Glenora Club squash community has lost a true friend and supporter. I will long think of Doug and his endless array of infamous stories and mannerisms both on and off of the squash court. Each memory of Doug will bring a smile to my face and my heart. A life well lived and fondly remembered. You...

Sarah and family....we will miss everything about
Dougie, his smile his laugh and his wisdom.
