I was so saddened by the news of Doug's passing. Doug has always been the kind of guy you just don't forget, no matter how many years go by. His smile and unforgettable laugh are legend. His voice, too. Please accept my sincere condolences. Doug was an absolute original, and he will be greatly missed. He was kind, memorable and fun!!

Dear Jo, Kim, Barry and Karly,

Dougie's laugh and smile were truly contagious. He was such a loveable guy who will be missed by so many of us. Heaven just got a little brighter. Know that many people are thinking of you and sending positive thoughts and prayers your way. Peace be with you.

Doug was such a kind and friendly man who never seemed short of friends. His constant smile will forever be remembered. May his fond memories help sustain his family during this difficult time. God Bless.

Growing up on the Beach I have many memories of his smile and his wonderful laugh. Always could light up a room, he will be missed. My thoughts are with his family and know that his wonderful spirit lives on.

Doug always had a smile on his face. I remember racing him on a daily basis around the bases after our older brothers little league games, or tha fact we live at the field with our parents constantly helping out.

When I think of Doug I am reminded of his free spirit and never ending smile. He touched the lives of so many people and I am truly blessed that he touch mine. The service was a great celebration of his life!

Doug wasn't my best friend, but I knew him from when he was about 13 thourgh high school. He was kind, sincere, and had a smile that could light up a room. He was a free spirit and a kind soul. May God be with you and your family in this time of sorrow..His life was well celebrated...
