Not sure what to say?

My favorite memory of Doug was the bright red jacket he would wear at Christmas and Valentine's. He was a special man along with this family. Our prayers are with the family.

So sorry to hear about Doug. He was my pastor at Maud United Methodist Church Maud Texas years ago. I really thought alot of him. In fact, I actually joined the church when he was there. My prayers are with you and your family.

Doug; with the many others that your life touched I will miss you.

My heart goes out to you at this time and in the days ahead.

From the first day I met Doug I picture his huge smile and the tug I felt in my heart whenever I had the chance to visit with him... then I picture the twinkle in his eye when he looked at you my dear friend Vicki...my heart goes out to you for the loss of your love on this earth and I pray that sooner rather than later you will be able to remember only the joyful times you spent together without the pain of your loss until you are reunited with your husband in heaven.... he will be missed by...

Doug always typified "steadfast". He was a solid person living out his call to serve God. I will miss his soft voice and sincere appreciation for life and everyone who had the honor to know and call him friend. God bless and embrace him deeply in His loving arms.

Vicki - it is hard to say I am sorry when you know that Doug has the best place we all strive to be. He will celebrate Jesus Birthday right there with Him this year and who would want to deprive someone of that great priviledge. May your heart be healed in the knowledge that Doug loved you and awaits a reunion one day as we are all promised if we love and acknowledge Christ as our Savior. May God bless your heart and that of Doug's whole family at this time and remember the joys of great...

Vickie and the entire Fisk family, Mike and I send our sincere condolences, with prayers lifted for His loving comfort to sustain you.

Doug was an inspiration to me in our youth. And in the past twenty years he has shared words with me that helped me understand myself. I will miss him.
