Not sure what to say?

Dear Foster family, my prayers go out to you. Doug was a remarkable man. He was a kind person. He was liked by everyone. I always enjoyed my conversations with him at the Dallas Economists Club meetings. Although I am now a senior member in the Club, I can remember how Doug welcomed me when I joined the club as a new member from the Univ. of North Texas around 1986. God bless your family. Sincerely, Michael Nieswiadomy

Dannette and I express our deepest sympathy to the whole Foster family at Doug Foster's passing, who was the patriarch of your great family. Both Doug and Jill were our friends over the years, and your family was a big part of my formative years at the Oak Cliff Christian church. We will miss Doug...but the fruit of his life lives on in you and his great many contributions to society and the church. Our love and blessings.

I want to offer condolences to the family. I had the pleasure of working for him at Gifford Hill in the 1980s. Doug lead a full life and was extremely proud of his children. It was an honor to have known him.

With our deepest sympathy and heartfelt sadness.
Doug will truly be missed.
Love,
Danny and Elena Blakemore

My Mother & I were sorry to hear of the passing of "Big Doug" as he was known in the family and our prayers go out to the family. Berniece Douglas Coyle & Douglas "Little Doug" Coyle

My deepest condolences and prayers on Dougs passing.

Doug Foster was one of the few remaining American Heroes of the Greatest Generation. The generation that knew a long time ago, that they should ask what they can do for their Country, instead of what their country can do for them. Doug was a role model for us, as a patriot, a family man, a businessman, a community leader and a devout Christian. He was characterized by his love and devotion to God, Country, family, friends, his colleagues , his community, The University of Texas Longhorns and...

Doug and Jill were friends of the Bozman family for well over 30 years sharing Sunday School together and many church relationships while rearing our families. No better example of the Spiritual leader in a family than Doug Foster. We watched with admiring eyes and genuinely prayed for the same successful outcome. We loved Doug's wry sense of humor and honest opinions and hilarious stories. I thank God for the hope of heaven that we all share in knowing we will all be together again in a...

I will miss you Doug, will miss our phone chats. You were a great man and I thank you for your faithfulness and many years of service to our little church. May God’s face shine upon you and may you rest in blessed peace. Cindy Whitney
