Jim,Vicky, Pete, Courtney: I'll always remember Doug playing with Rowlf (our beloved lab dog) with that fishing pole. They had such fun. And the night Rowlf was hit by a car in the very early morning and Doug came to get him and put him in the back of the truck and then drove him and buried him under the big oak tree in the back. We'll always remember Doug when he was a young boy and would come over to play and swim with our sons. I'll never forget his facial expression when he at one time helped pull a dog out of our pool who couldn't get out. He was quiet but with exemplary manners. We'll always remember him as being a special and treasured friend of our boys and a great neighbor as is his family.
