I'm so sorry, I just heard about Doug - no words can express how my heart aches for you and your family. Doug was a great dad and husband. So kind, so funny - great guy. I to have youth group memories - out beach trip and my first ride on a wave runner or whatever that thing was that Doug tried to kill me on - not to mention dumped me in the Gulf. I know how hard this can be - but you will make it - trust God with all things especially your heart - he will mend...

I luv y'all so much & I will miss him! Y'all were my second Family growing up living next door for so many years & I looked at Mr.Mewbourne as a Father! He gave me my 1st nick Name "Killer Kimberly" when I was very young because I killed the Operation Man at Craigs Birthday Party! Y'all have always had a very special place in my heart! I love y'all & we are here for y'all! Praying for y'all to find Comfort in knowing he is Suffering no more! Luv u All so very very much!

Deb, I am so sorry to hear about Doug's passing. I have so many memories of the youth group at Taylor's and are beach trips as a youth when you and Doug were are youth pastors. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. May God give you the peace that only he can give.

I am so sorry to hear about Doug's passing. My husband, Ed, thought so much of him and enjoyed working with him when the family life center at Palmerdale UMC was being built. May you and your family find comfort and peace that only comes from our Lord.
