Doug passed away peacefully at St. Francis Hospital at 10:54 a.m. He was one of two children born to the late Francis Prince and was the beloved husband of Robin Taylor for over 20 years. Doug will forever be remembered by his wife and beloved children, Shannon Pennell and Jason Movius; and treasured five grandchildren. Doug loved watching the Atlanta Braves and Denny Hamlin racing, spending time and having fun with his family and friends, cutting up and telling jokes. Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service on Friday, June 24, 2011, at 7 p.m. at the Journey Christian Church, 3505 Old Hundred Road, South Midlothian, Va. 23112.

Not sure what to say?

Keeping Robin, and Doug's children in my thoughts and prayers as they reflect on Doug's passing a year ago.

We have lived next door to Doug and Robin for a long time now (12 years?), He was the neighborhood watch dog and a good hearted person. He will be missed.

Doug was a devoted husband and father. He will be missed dearly by his wife and children. I know he is going to be doing special things in heaven and will be pain free.

I grew up with Doug, over by Santa Rosa Rd in the west end of Richmond. hung out at his house quite a lot. As kids growing up, we got into a lot of stuff sometimes. Would spend the night over there sometimes. I even delivered their newpapaer when I was 12 yrs old.
Don't know if doug ever talked about some of his escapades. It reads like a movie title for short films.
