Not sure what to say?

I'm so sad to hear of the passing of Doug. We graduated the same year from Shelbyville H.S. and I just wanted to echo what Bill and Dannis have already said about Doug being a funny, likable guy. There were only about 100 in our class so we all knew each other really well. My sincerest sympathy to Dillon and Doug's family.

I knew Doug when we were attending Lake Land College. He was a year ahead of me in the Arch.Tech program. Although he didn't know me very well, he took the time to help me during that first year. Our paths never did cross again, but I still remember Doug Sutherland.

To the whole family , I am very sorry for your loss . Doug and I were classmates at Shelbyville , he was a really funny guy and a good friend .

Susan and Family: I am so sorry for your loss. You and your entire family are in our thoughts and prayers. You were great neighbors and we were sad to leave because of the wonderful families that surrounded us. May God help you through this difficult time.

Dear Susan and family
I am so sorry for your loss of Doug
My heart goes out to you
After working in the same room with Doug for 22 years I know he would want us to remember the funny times.
So if you need a funny story about Doug I have a few (thousand)
With Deepest Sympathy

Dear Dillon and family
Sonna and I want you to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. I saw your Dad last summer at Carle when I was taking my Dad for radiation treatments. Doug sat down and talked with me and gave me encouargement. He was a very good man that will be missed.

I grew up with Doug in Shelbyville as a kid. We rode our bikes together to school every day. I remember all the fun we had playing baseball, flying kites at Goleman's lot, and playing pranks on our parents.

You were a great friend and a genuine person in every way. Our prayers have been you and his family and will continue in the time to come.

We will miss you Doug.

God Bless,

Dannis

Suan,

I'm so sorry for your loss. Know that I'm thinking of you and will keep you and your family in my prayers.
With Deepest Sympathy,

Susan and Family,
It is through Honor and Faith we share in this transition with Doug. He has been an inspiration and guide to many and now his work here is done. There will be many lessons Doug has left, for us all to share. For now though, through tears and laughter, hugs and love, we will gather in his memory, to thank him in our own ways.
