Doug was very special to me, I saw him a lot in the Outpatient department @ the Soldiers' Home. He would ask for me, and we'd sit and chat for a while...I will miss him terribly! So sorry for your loss

Hard to imagine it has been so long since all of those names used to congregate at my Dad's garage in Pine Point back in the 50's. Brings back a lot of memories of a great group of young guys

Doug was our family mailman and friend in Pine Point. He grew up in the neighborhood we lived in and was a friend of the Boone, LaValley, Waterhouse families. Even after he moved away with Kay he would stop at the house in Pine Point on his many visits and say how he was going to write a book about the history of the Point..He enjoyed the theater and did perform in plays. He truly was a "Friend" of Pine Point.
