To the DeYoung family: I am so sorry to read about the passing of Doug. I'm so glad he is now with the love of his life, Karen. I graduated with both Doug & Karen, and worked on many class reunions with them for our 1959 Creston High School class. My sister, Karen, (1951-1969) was named after your Karen. Chris and Blair and family ,I was so sorry to learn of Doug's passing as I just spoke to him on Friday. He was a great neighbor and friend, along with Karen we shared many memories of their wonderful travels . My thoughts and prayers are with all of his family. Susan Zeagler

Chris and Blair, I am so sorry for your loss. Doug was a favorite member of the Sociables Couples club. Your mom would get upset about something you "boys had done and your dad would just shake his head. Please know my prayers are with you.

We are so sorry to hear of Doug´s passing. I worked with Doug for many years at Grand Rapids Mutual in the 1960´s and kept in touch with him even after he moved to Troy. We were blessed to having known Karen and Doug. Gary & Sandy Cherpes
