We have very fond memories of Doug. He loved the song "Victory in Jesus" and we were singing it this morning in his memory. Bill served for years with Doug in Full Gospel Businessmen, a group sharing their love of God with others. Heaven is a wonderful place and we look forward to hanging out there in the not too distant future with our friend Doug. Those of us left behind and family will sorely miss you.

Doug (Ashby) offered openness and friendship to all! For his sons, wider family, and his very large circle of friends and acquaintances, he modeled how to be an exceptional husband, father, friend, and active community member! Of course, Doug's relationships extended well beyond these. For me, though, knowing Doug through my wife, Nancy, whose cousin is Doug's wife, Joan, I always admired Doug's tremendous breadth of interests and involvement, his ability to weave and bring forward and model...
