Watching the clouds and the sunrise today and thinking about Doug. He found joy in the simple things. He embraced the beauty of God's creation around him-flowers, trees, hills, and mountains-and when his sight was failing he found beauty in what he could see-sunlight through the clouds. His architecture and living spaces also reflected simplicity and light.
