Not sure what to say?

My best memory of Doug was partying out at the sand pits and the cops finding us.(We're talking the 80's here). We wanted to hide but he waltzes out to shake their hands. "Wow, your hand is as big as a bear's paw", they say and turn around and leave. Ever since that time Doug, for me meant safety. He was like a big brother that you didn't see for years but still had a bond with. What a guy. What a man's man. My sympathies to all who are missing him today.

I was very saddened to hear of Doug's early passing. My thoughts and condolences and our prayers are with the Ayer family.

Perhaps you sent a lovely card
of sat quietly in a chair
Perhaps you sent a floral piece
if so we saw it there
Perhaps you spoke the kindest words
as any friend could say
Perhaps you were not there at all
just thought of us that day
Whatever you did to console our hearts
we thank you so much whatever the part.
Love all whom you hold dear
Precious is the time you share
Do not wait for tomorrow
For tomorrow may not be...

My deepest sympathy in the loss of Doug. You are in my prayers during this difficult time.

It came as a great shock to hear of such a tragedy. He was so young. I guess you never know when your time is up. Live life to its fullest today, because tomorrow is promised to no one. I have a lot of fond memories of Doug. We spent a lot of time together and did a lot as friends in our early days (Jr. High & High School). He will be missed, I am sure of that. My sympathies go out to his family.

To the Ayer Family,
We are sorry to read of your lose and you will be in our prayers. Go in Gods speed.
