Not sure what to say?

I am sorry to hear of Doug's passing. My sincere condolences to the family.

I only knew him for a about 2 year, He was a wonderful teacher and mentor and he will be miss

Doug was my best friend as a child. Doug, Jerry and Evy created more special moments than I can innumerate. Jerry flew us to a cottage up north in his Cessna airplane, was the first in the neighborhood to have a snowmobile, taught me how to drive a stick shift in an old green truck on a two track, took us camping every spring to Holland State Park when it was still cold and snowy, and was generally the coolest Dad around. Doug worked many years with emotionally challenged youth, he was very good at his chosen profession. He was a friend and had a great laugh. We all have lost a great soul

Just remembering the love you shared with Doug. My heartfelt love and Light sent to you Linda.

I was so sad to hear about Doug passing but happy to hear that he went home to be with his Lord and Savior. He will be missed and remembered always as such a sweet and memorable man. You´re family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Doug at Oakleigh School where he was my mentor in the 1990s. I enjoyed working with him and seeing him at gatherings throughout the years. I have fond memories of him. I hope you find solace in your memories you will forever carry in your heart.
