Not sure what to say?

We remember Doug in his garden with an armful of tomatoes or in a tuxedo at the opera with Ian. His laughter still fills our hearts with joy. We will always treasure his friendship.

Ian, our heart felt sympathies for your loss. Doug was always a kind and generous spirit. We wil miss him dearly. We think of the both of you often and was very sadden to hear of the loss of one of our most talented individual who shared those gifts with us. He will be soarly missed. Ian, please keep in touch with us. With Love, Paul and Judy Gaston, St. Paul, MN

I didn't know Doug was born in Austin, MN as that is where my husband was born too. Doug was a wonderful man with a big heart. I'm sure you will see signs of him in future gardens you visit.
Ian, you have a great group of people that love you and will continue to be with you. Please know you are never alone. We love you Ian!
We love you Doug!

I was shocked to hear about Doug's passing..He was a favorite cousin...I will miss him....BOB GAVIN

I am drinking a Tanqueray One martini as I write this in memory of you, Doug. Thanksgiving dinner will never be the same without you at the...

Doug was in the department when I started at the St. Paul companies, my first job after college. Despite our differences in age, experience and background, Doug was always warm and funny, helping me feel at ease in a stressful new job and providing advice, humor and help in equal measure. I'm glad to have known him and counted him a friend, and my heart goes out to Ian and all his family.
