Prayers and thoughts to the entire Besser family.
It's a very sad day for me....Doug was a great friend to me back in high school.... for a few years we hung out every day.....The basketball floor... football field ... cocco and toast at cooks table.....the golf course changing sprinklers ... Twinkie Doritos and diet 7 up.....camping..... Boating....weekend trips...Lots of fun party time with "Bes"... I will never forget those great memories.....Great Guy.
Was lucky to have know him.

My deepest condolences to Doug's (we called him Hound at Winona State) entire family. We lived in the same house our senior year. Last time I saw Hound was in San Francisco. I feel lucky to have had him as a great friend so many years ago.

My Thoughts and prayers to the Besser Family. I was Doug's buddy at Winona State, he really loved picking on me, but that mean he really liked me. One of a kind.

Besser family, I am Doug's cousin Roberta (Bert). Gen and my dad (Donald Minkel) were brother and sister. In fact, my dad was Doug's godfather! I am so sorry for your loss. I have many fond childhood memories of family times together with Doug and my Besser (Minkel) cousins. You will all be in my prayers. May God bless you all and grant you peace.

Doug was such a great friend throughout Highschool and though he was a piece of the past.....his death makes a mark. It's such sad news, may the love of friends and family carry you through this time of sorrow.
