Douglas Betz

I met Doug on my first day in 7th grade - and we have been best friends ever since. The memories of our school days are precious to me, and to my family. Throughout our adult life we have added to the memories, and Doug, they will make me laugh and cry for years to come. Over the past years you have become a member of my family - my daughters always enjoyed the times you spent with us. Doug had a way of "letting the cat out of the bag" with secrets of the wild stuff we did as kids. There...

I always enjoy chatting with Doug when he would come to the lab....wonderful person and great classmate....you will be missed.

Doug was a fine member of my very first 9th grade class of "Government" students in 1969-'70 at Lower Dauphin HS, and I remember him very well. He was a hard-working and determined student, and a good guy. My sympathy also to Deanna, who 2 years later followed and kept the "Betz tradition" alive.
