Douglas Brewer

May 25, 2026 I can't believe that Doug isn't with us anymore. Doug was simply one of the nicest, funniest, warmest people I've ever known. There was a time when Doug, Greg Routzahn and I and others partied regularly in Frederick, and we just had the best time. That was in our wild and crazy twenties and thirties. We all stayed in touch in later years, and Doug was just always nice, positive and funny. And, earlier, we all had great fun in Scouts, just camping, cooking outdoors,...

We all miss Doug, who was one of the nicest, smartest and funniest guys I ever knew. Doug always had a smile for everyone, and he loved to laugh. Doug was just good people. We miss you, Doug!

Sincere sympathies and condolences regarding the recent death of Doug Brewer. He will be missed. Doug was truly one of the nicest people anyone could hope to meet. He was smart, nice, fun, funny and caring. His death is literally a tragedy--he was taken from us far too soon. I'm glad that I knew him, and I'm glad that I re-connected with him in recent years.
