Doug was such a kind-hearted man who loved his family, friends, and life. In the past 38 years never once did he miss sending us a card to wish us a happy anniversary! He will be missed.

I'm so saddened to learn of Doug's loss. We were colleagues from our Department of Justice days. Doug's loyalty to his family and friends shows what an amazing person he was. I worked with Doug at the beginning of my career. He encouraged me to apply for a position that provided me the opportunity to move into a wonderful career path. He was a lovely man and so very kind.

Doug was a wonderful person who was always thoughtful of others. He had a great sense of humor and was always thoughtful of special dates in the lives of others. One could always count on a card for an anniversary or birthday. He will be missed.

Douglas and I were cousins and when younger we spent a lot of time together. Our family was very close, and we spent many a weekend together at his grandparents' home sharing great food and happy times. He loved his family and was always the first to send birthday and Christmas cards. He was a great storyteller and loved to share stories about the family. He was loved and will be missed !
