Not sure what to say?

I was saddened to learn of Doug's passing upon our return from a month away. He was one of my first and best friends when I moved to Roanoke in 1976. My sympathy to Liz, Holly, Reid and families.

What a terrible shame that I should have to use this forum to see names and faces from that past that Doug and I grew up and went to schools with. My prayers to the family in your time of grief, may you be consoled by the outpouring of those who share your loss.

I knew Doug from High School days. He was a real gentleman. I heard from my son, Clay, years ago that he had health problems. Sorry to hear this news.

Oh Liz. I was saddened to see Doug's passing in the paper today. Your memories of your life with Doug will continue to keep him alive in your life. People we love are never completely gone, but I know that won't seem like nearly enough. Peace to you and your family.

Liz,

My sincere sympathy goes out to you and your family in this difficult time. My prayers are that in God you will find comfort, peace, strength and joy in the memories.

Liz, I am so sorry for your loss. I will hold you in my thoughts and prayers during this time.

Liz, sorry for your loss. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Friends since elementry school, many are the memories of walking home from football practice with Doug when we were at Monroe.

Liz,
I am so sorry for your loss. I have so many happy memories of working with Doug at Wheat First. He always made me smile and laugh, the bowling dance in the lobby was the best. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.
