Doug was such a kind, caring and thoughtful person. Every family Christmas party, Doug was always right there asking if he could get me anything or help out. He was especially helpful with my kids! I was so fortunate to have him as a cousin! He was so easy to talk to and genuinely cared about everyone. We are going to miss him so much but will always remember his warm smile, kindness, big heart and the amazing person that he was!

My deepest sympathies to the Carmody family. Doug was a sweet boy and will be missed. Too soon, we hardly knew ye.

I will always remember how much Doug loved our family. His good nature was infectious and he was a truly kind person. Doug was always easy to talk to and fun to have around I was really lucky to have him as a cousin. He will be sorely missed.

Doug will be dearly missed by his Massachusetts relatives Judi, Roy, Jamie, Aaron and Leigh. Our family get- togethers will never be the same without him. His smile, warmth, conversation and enthusiasm cannot be replaced. We are so sad and so sorry. Our thoughts are with you Patty, Dale, Bob and Rebecca. We love you.

Doug has been an important part of our lives and, as his aunt and uncle, we have known him since he was born. He was the cutest, sweetest little boy, and grew up to be a kind, gentle, and considerate person who also had an impressive career in geographic mapping. We remember when he was very young and said the most adorable things we ever heard out of a little kid's mouth. Doug was such a kind and caring person. He was my cousin and we always had so much to talk about. I will always remember him for his smile and his kindness. He will be missed so much. I know he loved his family and nieces and nephews. He was so good with kids. I am so saddened by his loss and my heart goes out to his family. ❤
