Mr. Douglas Chapman

Mr. Douglas V. Chapman, age 57, passed away Monday at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. He was a member of Dowelltown Baptist Church and a factory worker. Mr. Chapman was preceded in death by his Parents, William Chapman and Alma Thomason Chapman. He is survived by his Wife, Penny Chapman of Smithville; Son, Eric (Jennifer) Chapman of Smithville; Daughter, Chasity Chapman of Alexandria; Step-daughter, Kelsey Eller of Smithville; 2 Sisters, Terry (Tom) Sklenka and Donna (Wayne) Grandstaff both of Liberty; 7 Brothers, Kenneth (Elaine) Chapman of Lebanon, Paul (Carol) Chapman of Woodbury, Tommy (Kathy) Chapman of Lebanon, Winton (Angie) Chapman of Murfreesboro, Claude (Anita) Chapman of Gassaway, Bruce (Kathy) Chapman of Liberty, Danny (Linda) Chapman of Smithville; 3 Grandchildren, Whitleigh, Carrigan and Rheagan Chapman; Several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, April 21, 2011 at 1:PM at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Bobby Thomason officiating with burial to follow in Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday 11:AM until 9:PM and Thursday from 10:AM until time of the service at 1:PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to DeKalb Funeral Chapel to help with expenses.
