My heart was saddened to hear that I lost an old friend and fellow soldier. Doug made the ultimate sacrifice for his country with his service during the Vietnam war. As a friend growing up in Levittown Doug always treated me with respect and was a true friend during both the good and bad times. His spirit will live on in the lives of the many people he touched. May he rest in peace in heaven.
