Not sure what to say?

Rich and Jerry,
I am so very sorry to learn of Doug's passing. May all the wonderful memories you shared with him be of comfort to you during this very sad time.

I will always remember Doug on St Paddy's day - He and his brother always included me in the limo ride - we would stop at every Irish Pub we could find - Doug, thank you for your friendship

I have quite a few memories of Doug. He's been in my life for years. As a child he was always making me laugh. I will never forget the "Three Stooges" imitation he did. As an adult i enjoyed dancing to "build me up, buttercup". I heard it on the radio the other day. Everytime I hear that song i will have a memory of him and i dancing at my parents wedding, and plenty of other parties. I have many joyful memories of Doug. He's in the gates of heaven....but always in my heart. My deepest...

Doug was truly a great guy. He will be missed. I still can't believe he is gone but he will never be forgotten.

Bye-bye Su-u-u-perfly!! My life was richer having you and your family in it. There are so many great memories over all these years, 28 school playground, Cobbs Hill Little League, Disco's, parties, parties, and did I mention parties!! You were the King!! You were Su-u-u-perfly! I have enjoyed the ride with you! Friends to the end. I raise my glass and say a toast to you. God bless ya Doug!

A lot of years have passed in our lives, and a lot of lives have passed in our years. I, for one, can truly say that Doug was my best friend. I met him back in 1972 when he was this "kid" who kept bugging me by everything from throwing things at me, to punching me in the arm; Non stop. I didn't know who this kid was, but it eventually got to me and I jumped all over him, and I've got to tell you..it was the best stress releiver, and probably the best thing that could have happened to me,...

This was a very nice thing my boss told me when I told him about my uncle Dougie passing: Sometimes we don't understand why things happen and spend our days trying to figure it out, like in the case of your Uncle. It Is very strange why/how this can happen, but you know I believe we can't figure it out. Simply because we don't know everything, but the Man upstairs knows it all so we have to trust in his plan. Then the key is to move forward and do the best we can in our life, The man...

So sorry to hear about Dougs' passing.
