Douglas Oliver Cooley

I worked with Doug delivering meals on wheels for Highland Valley Elder Services. . He was loved by his coworkers. He worried about his wife, Dolores, working as a crossing guard. We heard about his career as a barber and his barber chair he moved to his house when he retired. When we parted ways, he thanked me for always smiling and gave me a poem called Smile which he had wrote is his exquisite cursive handwriting. He is truly missed.

I've known Douglas for the past 12 years and he was always so kind to me as my landlord. He was always smiling and a giving soul. May he find peace with the Lord.
