Tom & Family,

I am sorry to heard about Doug.
Just the thought of the Cornfield Brothers opens up a flood gate of memories, good memories I might add. I will pray for God's Speed for your family in this hard time of life.

I was shocked and saddened to learn of Doug's passing ... we were in the same graduating class at Whitehall and I remember what neat people he and Tom were. Please accept my sincere sympathies and know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

I was so saddened to learn of Doug's passing while reading the Chronicle online. I grew up with the Cornfield boys and Doug was always such a good person. I had not seen him in years, since high school, but am glad to hear that he had a good life. My sympathies to Doug's wife and his children, and to his mother and his brother's and other family members. May the memories of his living comfort you in his passing.

I, too, think Tom did a wonderful thing for his Brother by staying with him through this trying ordeal.
