Douglas Cramer III was on my bus at Buckley around 1978-1980. He was a very nice respectful educated person. I'm very very sorry for his loss. I was thinking about him today.

I just found out today that Doug passed away and I am filled with regret that we had slipped out of touch so much that it took this long for me to find out. We went to USC together and had loads of fun playing D and D at his apartment in the light from his beautiful saltwater fish tank. I have many fond memories of our conversations and adventures. I was telling my son one of the tales and decided to search up Doug to see if he was on Facebook so I could reach out and say hello. Well Hello...

I met Doug III through his sister Courtney and am glad to have met D-III. You are always nice to me and I appreciated your kindness in welcoming me to your family. Likewise, your father was kind to me as well and incredibly generous. You died too soon.

I also met Doug once when I was ten and he was eleven. We were on a flight CA to NY together - me with my family and him flying alone on his way back to boarding school. He was such a nice kid. He wrote me a letter after the flight and being a shy little girl, I never wrote back - although I think of him still all of these years later. From reading these posts, clearly he affected me in one flight as he affected so many others in such a positive way. Its such a blessing to make such a...

I knew Douglas well when we were both in school at a private school for boys in Katonah, NY. He was basically a child then -- twelve or thirteen -- but such a lovely boy, who used to tag after me as I was older, which did a lot for my self-esteem at that time. I lost contact with him after I left for boarding school but I have thought of him many times over the years and always imagined a reunion someday, which, alas, is not to be. His late sister, Courtney, was, coincidentally, at Ethel...

Old acquaintance. I have thought many times about Dougie and Courtney since teaching them a little tennis back in the 80'S. My heart broke for you when I looked them up today. I have two children of my own and I can't imagine the pain of losing either one, let alone both. I wish I could have done something for them besides hitting a tennis ball around. I always remembered the kindness they showed me even as just kids. Rich as you were, they always treated me with respect. I would have reached...
