Yes, it's true....Doug fell out of his raft on the first rapid on one of our Youghiogheny rafting trips. I can't remember if it was an official "Dave's Double Dare" or one of the Daveless Double Dare trips, but he was showboating a little as the raft captain and slipped off. Oh, the look on his face as he fell!

Doug was a joy to be around and I'm sure he will be greatly missed by his newer friends and acquaintances as much as those who have know him for much longer.
