Not sure what to say?

Miss you already!

In disbelief!! I saw him the 15th of April at Frys on Lambert and La Canada, he was getting donuts for the boys. No surprise, he was a caring man and a thoughtful man, the man that was a confidant to the father of my son. My last discussion with Doug was a wonderful one, he saw Jadon and just couldn't believe how much he looked like Pat! I admire him, and I told him so. What a good hearted man who will be missed! and especially by Larry!
Im sorry for the loss of such a remarkable human...

A giant among men. Through the hardest times of my life, Doug was there to support me, love me and encourage me. He was always teaching, even in the smallest moments. He is now a man for the ages. I couldn't have asked for a better Father Figure, friend or coach. He didn't coach basketball, he coached kids. And this kid now an adult, will spend the rest of my life trying to live every principal he taught me and pass it on to the next generation.

We parents and children were proud to be on his team. Rock Q

He was the coach.

Doug was the teacher

Doug, the impact you had on my son Fahd and his friends who played for you has lasted years. It continued through high school, college and beyond. We did not want our children to be coached by anyone else. As parents we could feel the trust, respect, and admiration they and their teammates had for you. They all wanted to win for you. I will always see and feel your spirit in each one of your children whom I occasionaly see. The void you leave behind will be filled by your beautiful family and...

So sorry to hear of Doug's passing. He was my cousin and we were very close when we were young. He was always such a sweetheart. Even though I hadn't seen him in many years, I always thought about him fondly. May God grant him eternal peace & joy. My deepest condolences to the D'Amore family.

I will always cherish everything Doug taught me about basketball. Some of the best times of my life were playing ball for Doug. I am so saddened hearing the news about Doug. He left a lasting impression on thousands of kids like me that will forever be grateful to him. Rest In Peace. You will be missed
