Dearest Dellinger Family,

We are deeply sorry for the lost of you son Doug. We lost our daughter Michele just 18 months ago and I wonder if she might have known Doug. There is no deeper pain than that of the loss of a child and I wish that I could give you the words to comfort you. Just hold on to each other and know that you are not alone.
