Not sure what to say?

Doug was a great guy and I enjoyed our talks and our joking with each other. He had a great sense of humor. He truly loved Chloe and was a wonderful father to her. He was a wonderful person. Just know that my prayers and thoughts are with all of you. Charlie, Betty, and David, you are so special to me. I am glad to get to finally meet Jeff and know him now. Doug was a special person!

My prayers go out to all of you. I've known all of you so long. Charlie and I met when we were 6 years old, and we've kept in touch over the years. I feel like part of the family. So I feel a lot of pain too. Love to you all.

Doug was a very kind hearted person. He had the most beautiful blue eyes that would light up the room. It was a year ago since I last seen Doug at Walgreens and all he talked about was his daughter and showed me pictures of how much she has grown. Doug and I also talked on the phone for hours back in the day when we were young in school. He loved to charm the ladies! He was a great friend that will be truely missed. My prayers are with Mr. & Mrs. Edwards, his brother Dave & his daughter Chloe.

Doug was my nephew Brent's best friend
and a friend to the whole family. We will
miss his cheerful face. May he rest
peacefully and his family find comfort in
his memory.

Dear Betty and Charlie,

I’m so sad at this news. I’m glad Doug and I met up in the Fountain City Elementary cafeteria and figured out our grandfathers had been close friends at TVA. Doug was a good guy and a good friend. I’m thankful I knew him.

I am a childhood friend of Doug and am very saddened that such a great person was taken far too soon from his family and especially his daughter. Doug's Family, I am so sorry for you loss and you will be in my thoughts and prayers!
