Doug was a great classmate at DeMatha and someone I admire for his sport ability and his will to win. He did it all with great ease and apparent calmness. At least he made it look easy to me looking in.

Dear Linda and Family,
I am so sorry to hear of Doug's passing. He was truly a great person, who was always encouraging and fun to be with.
The two of you were instrumental in getting my wife and I to start dating, which I will never forget. Doug was a blessing to all of his many friends and acquaintances, and will truly be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to you all at this sad time.
