Not sure what to say?

Well Doug, I hope you had a chance to meet one of your biggest fans! My daughter Eileen Schneider Simmons went up to heaven December 19, 2024.
She can help you celebrate your birthday with all the other friends & family you have up there. Give her a hug for Mr please.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Hi Doug! One of your biggest fans is now in Heaven with you. Eileen Schneider-Simmons. Hope you both find each other.

May God bless your family during this difficult time. I have memories of your kindness at St. Peter’s. I pray you Rest In Peace.

Mr. Flett - I will always remember him wearing his orange sweatshirt jacket and riding his motorcycle. The epitome of a cool teacher. Mr. Flett was my PE and science teacher at St Peter Lutheran School back in 1978/79. Always supportive, caring and expecting nothing but the best from his students. All of us who were lucky to have him as a teacher were truly blessed. Prayers to his family and friends. May he be sitting on that motorcycle smiling down on everyone.

I am awed by the wonderful words spoken of my brother Doug. He made every aspect of life a lesson to learn from. When he told me he was going to drive a bus, he asked me to send any type of wise adages to put on posters to decorate the bus, so that even riding the bus would be a lesson in life. Doug called me weekly and we spoke about family, life faith and education. He spoke encouraging words for dealing with students. One thing for sure dear brother is that I will not follow your...

Doug was so kind, funny and attentive. He would listen, smile and say "God Bless" or "Amen". And he listened to everyone, young or old. He always had time for you. Thanks for sharing Doug with us, he was a joy! :)

Our deepest condolences to the Flett family. We are so sorry for your loss, you are in our thoughts and prayers. May you find solace in the Lord and comfort that someone so special will never be forgotten.
God Bless,
The Jimenez family

I truly enjoyed seeing you at the door every morning and receiving Gods blessings from you. You will be missed.

My deepest sympathies to the Flett family and St. Peter community. Mr. Flett, as I knew him, was not only one of my best teachers ever - but also my deeply caring coach, mentor, religious advisor, and encouraging friend. He definitely made a positive, lasting impact on my life, and I know he shaped the good character of so many others. I have so many great memories of him. May God bless him and may he Rest In Peace.
