Even though I moved away many years ago, my memories of Doug are still strong and everlasting. As a newcomer to the church back when it still met in the school building in Novelty (remember the Easter service outside on a beautiful spring day?), Doug (and his larger than life persona), made me feel quite at home and welcome.
