While he left us far too soon, Doug had a richly-lived life. He loved all his family and friends, succeeded in business, created the Doug Frank Chorale and recorded the first full version of the A Cappella Singer, and had fond life-long memories of his Dalton and Oberlin years. He is dearly missed and remembered so fondly.

I held his hand while he died as he lived: sure of himself, proud, brave. My friend of 57 years. See you at Drake's, buddy.

Doug was a talented, loving friend who helped fill my days at Dalton with many happy shared experiences. I hope he is up there singing madrigals with Harold Aks and conducting the music of the spheres.
