Not sure what to say?

On April 7th 1967 while assigned Hot Pad duty in Key West Florida I was an RIO in the back seat f an F4 Phantom Jet when Doug and I launched on a alert and Headed to Cuba. We were turnaround about 20 miles. Saved a U2 pilot from a MIG attack.

My thoughts are with the family during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there is a hope for our love ones lost in death can be reassuring.*

I'm sorry to hear about Doug.I just heard about him passing yesterday and will miss him. He was a true friend and boating buddy all thru high school and college, I had the honor of being his best man at his wedding.I will cherish all the good times that we had together. My condolences to Kayla and his entire family.

I am so sorry to hear of Doug's passing, my prayers are with the family. Doug was a classmate with me at Old Lorain High School, and and a brother serving in the United States Navy together in the 1960's

To Doug's family: he was one of my favorite cousins! I will always remember the good times we had. Love from cousin Doris Endrai in Avon Lake Ohio.

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow.

My condolences to Doug's family and friends. He was a good friend from early childhood through high school. We shared many laughs and spoofs, then lost track of one another for many years until he called a classmate on our 50th high school graduation which I attended but he did not. We had an enjoyable conversation catching up many years and exchanged email ever since. The loss is a great one. RIP Ghostflier!
